Rendering is the right height.
It's more of an intensification of the site than a renovation. Imploding an adequate apartment building simply doesn't make sense. The city has a strong policy to preserve rental housing inventory. They would not only have to replace every unit imploded but offer the replacement units for similar rent . The developer would also lose at least three years of rental revenue as the property is redeveloped.
