On September 25, 2014, Taoyuan Airport Corporation completed the RFI seminar for detailed design/construction supervision for Terminal 3 area development. The company had publicly invited and gathered both local and foreign architects, representatives from construction consultant companies and airport terminal development related industries.
This seminar held approximately 180 representatives from 90 businesses and organizations from Taiwan and abroad. Among them, according to the data, 23 are from Taiwan and 67 from countries and regions such as US, Canada, UK, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and India.
The seminar detailed the overall project of T3, the project schedule, WC taxiway relocation and the tendering process. It also, through the Q&A session and post-seminar questionnaires, solicited opinions and suggestions from the attending professionals to improve the follow-up tender process for design and construction supervision.
