no. again, if we're talking about 500+ footers and supertalls, there was no time in the '70s or '80s or '20s or any other time in the entire history of our nation where more of those types of buildings were under construction simultaneously than what is taking place right now.

the entire time frame of 1920 - 1935 only produced 2 supertalls and 58 500+ footers in the US. that's for that entire 15 year time span. it was a significant skyscraper building boom, for sure, but there's WAY more than that U/C just right now. who knows how insane shit will get 10 or 15 years out from now?

and 1945-1959 was hardly a skyscraper building boom for the US at all. that span produced zero supertalls and only a paltry 10 500+ footers.
