I don't know if Dallas ever left it's "boom" state. It's been pretty constant construction for the past 5 years or so in Uptown, and two major towers in downtown proper (Arts Tower (7-Eleven HQ) and Museum Tower). It's not a New York or Chicago-sized boom, but it's had a much more sustained level of high-rise construction activity than the vast majority of US cities over the past few years.
