I'd like to see the Sterick Building reactivated at street level, sandblasted exterior with LED lighting in its recesses. Then gut & mothball the interior above and renovate sections as the market demands.
I'd be a bit disappointed if any height is lost from a 100 N. Main redevelpment. The building would look great recladded with ribbon glass & spruced up rooftop. With the lower ceiling heights, I always thought it would make a perfect supplemental covention center hotel. Also, the now contiguous land next door could support a large tower or 2.
