The city has come up with concept drawings to turn it into a mixed use building complete with a sculptures pedestrian sky bridge from the Atlantic & Yadkin Greenway which will eventually link to midtown and to the downtown Greenway. The uses for the building have not been determined. I think it would be great if it were a third Gateway University Research Park campus, one that includes retail, residential, restaurants, research/innovation labs and some sort of a joint university school.

I have always wondered what that massive building was. Glad to see it going to good use now.
