ER, taking things in sequence, the little hut is a shelter for Pacific Electric San Fernando Valley Line streetcar patrons. This was the Barham Boulevard stop. Based on the newest cars seen in the video, the year was 1955 and the PE has been gone from the center of the Hollywood freeway for close to three years.
Next, I have to side with the Cadillac crowd on the grey car.
Lastly, as to your tunnel post, I agree with Ed Workman that we are looking at SP's tunnel under today's Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Chatsworth.
