Slightly off-topic, but I scoffed looking at the picture of the two walkers on the high line going into the Hudson Yards project. The high line is jam packed as it is every day. Especially during the summer months, parts of phase 2 consist of vegetation bottlenecks that limit a good flow of movement. It doesn't help when the lawn that was supposed to allow people to relax have all been closed off half the year, creating even more bottlenecks.

I foresee that adding thousands of new employees and residents from the Hudson Yards project will cause havoc on the high line, not to mention the upcoming Whitney Museum and other new projects on the high line. I think certain parts of phase 1 and phase 2 will have to be reworked in order to add pedestrian walking space.

Anyway, this project looks amazing and I cannot wait to visit that obs deck.
