Well to be honest, the campus does have a surabundance of concrete and bitumen in some areas (I did purposefully present a good image of the campus through these pictures!! ). The campus was initially built on lands owned by the Church outiside the city so people relied heavily on cars to get to the campus. Hence, there are still a lot of surface parkings and roads on site. Also, the management of the University has promised for some time now to produce an extensive urbanization plan for the campus but so far, they have failed to deliver such a plan. The surrounding area keeps getting denser and denser so eventually, the need for parking will significantly diminish.
