St. John’s IceCaps Win AHL Marketing Awards
St. John’s – The St. John’s IceCaps organization was honoured with two significant awards during the annual American Hockey League Marketing Meetings which concluded today in Cleveland.
The IceCaps won both the Sponsorship Sales Department of the Year Award and the Most Unique Sponsorship Package or Entitlement Award for the 2012-13 season. The hockey club was also among a select group of teams to win team achievement awards in the categories of: 15 Per Cent Growth in Corporate Cash; 90 Per Cent Season Ticket Renewal; and 450 New Season Ticket Sales.
Danny Williams, President and CEO of the IceCaps, says the organization takes great pride in being recognized for its marketing efforts.
