Around here, Jakarta is a not so unfamiliar city and many people have been there. Not many people know that some 32 million people live in the metro area though (with 8 million Bandung nearby). As far as I'm concerned, it's the world's second largest city (untill the PRD or the YRD becomes a clear integrated metro area at least).
