It's got the same vibe as the new WTC2 going on. Really sleek from one angle, kinda clunky from another. Better than WTC2 though.
I don't understand the cantilever as a design element either. A setback creates usable space for balconies and terraces. The overhang is negative space. I get that it creates more space above it, but just looks bad to me.

But this is going to take all the NIMBY heat off the Roosevelt towers. Poof goes the argument that they're too tall and don't tie into the skyline.
