Your friend is correct. I was actually going to post this on this list and haven't had the time.
My wife and I went there and ate before taking in a flick at Monaco. The BBQ sauce on the ribs is REAL spicy hot. So spicy it burns your lips and tongue. Some might like that but we don't like our BBQ sauce that way. They use the same sauce in their baked beans too, so it's the same way. The meat on the ribs seemed over cooked because the meat was dry.
I reordered my ribs dry, but I guess they don't know what that means because it still came out with sauce on it.
I ordered the steak fries as one of my side item because i was hungry. When you order steak fries at most places, they will give you a mountain of fries because how inexpensive they are. Not here, they arrived on a five inch plate.
