National Paints, a multinational paint manufacturing company having it’s presence in 45 countries and 12 factories worldwide is entering India with setting up its 13th factory in Angamali Industrial Area, near Kochi, Kerala. The newly set up state of the art plant with latest machineries and daily production capacity of 1,20,000 litres will be inaugurated by Kerala State Industries Minister Mr. Elamaram Kareem on Saturday, 12th September 2009. Transport Minister Mr. Jose Thettayil and Chalakkudy MP Mr. K.P. Dhanapalan also will grace the occasion.

Established 40 years back in Amman, the capital city of Jordan, National Paints Factories Ltd is well known and respected globally for its unique product portfolio. Company launched its Sharjah operations under the leadership of its current chairman Mr. Salim F. Sayegh in 1977 as part of its aggressive global expansion initiatives. ജോര്ദാന്കമ്പനി ഇന്ത്യയില് 500 കോടി നിക്ഷേപിക്കും

കൊച്ചി:ജോര്ദാനില് നിന്നുള്ള ബഹുരാഷ്ട്ര പെയിന്റ് കമ്പനിയായ നാഷണല് പെയിന്റ്സ് അങ്കമാലി ഇന്ഡസ്ട്രിയല് ഏരിയയില് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പ്രഥമ ഫാക്ടറി തുടങ്ങുന്നു. 45 രാജ്യങ്ങളില് സാന്നിധ്യമുള്ള നാഷണല് പെയിന്റ്സിന്റെ പതിമൂന്നാമത്തെ ഫാക്ടറിയാണ് ശനിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ വ്യവസായ മന്ത്രി എളമരം കരീം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യുക. 1969-ല് ജോര്ദാന് തലസ്ഥാനമായ അമ്മാനിലാണ് കമ്പനിയുടെ തുടക്കമെന്ന് ചെയര്മാന് സലിം എഫ്. സയഗ് പത്രസമ്മേളനത്തില് പറഞ്ഞു.

പ്രതിവര്ഷം 4 ലക്ഷം ടണ് ഉത്പാദനശേഷിയുള്ള കമ്പനിയുടെ വിറ്റുവരവ് 5000 കോടി രൂപ വരും. ഇന്ത്യാ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങള്ക്കായി രൂപവത്കരിച്ച നാഷണല് പെയിന്റ്സ് ഫാക്ടറി ഇന്ത്യ മൊത്തം നാല് ഫാക്ടറികളാണ് തുടങ്ങുന്നത്. പുണെ, അഹമ്മദാബാദ്, ചെന്നൈ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലായിരിക്കും ഇവ. മൂന്നുനാലു വര്ഷത്തിനകം നാലു ഫാക്ടറികളും നിലവില് വരുമ്പോള് മൊത്തം നിക്ഷേപം 500 കോടി രൂപയിലെത്തും. അഹമ്മദാബാദിലെ ഫാക്ടറി താമസിയാതെ പ്രവര്ത്തനം തുടങ്ങും. ചെന്നൈയില് നിന്നുള്ള ഉദ്പാദനം മുഖ്യമായും കയറ്റുമതിക്കായിരിക്കും. ശ്രീലങ്ക, ബംഗ്ലാദേശ്, മാലദീപ്, പൂര്വേഷ്യ എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്കായിരിക്കും ഇവിടെ നിന്ന് കയറ്റുമതി.

അങ്കമാലിയിലെ ഫാക്ടറിക്ക് 50 കോടി രൂപയായിരിക്കും മുതല്മുടക്ക്. പ്രതിദിനം 120-150 ടണ്ണായിരിക്കും ഉത്പാദനം. ആദ്യവര്ഷം 100 കോടി രൂപയുടെ വിറ്റുവരവാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് സലിം സയഗ് പറഞ്ഞു. ഡെക്കറേറ്റീവ്, വുഡ് ഫിനിഷ് ഉത്പന്നങ്ങള്ക്ക് പ്രാമുഖ്യം നല്കുന്ന ഫാക്ടറി 150 പേര്ക്ക് തൊഴിലവസരം ഉറപ്പാക്കും.
ഗള്ഫ് രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ പ്രവാസി ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്ക്ക് നാഷണല് പെയിന്റ്സിനെപ്പറ്റി അറിയാമെന്നും അവരുടെ താത്പര്യപ്രകാരമാണ് കേരളത്തില് പ്രഥമ ഫാക്ടറി സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ത്തു.
