Germany has a couple "Documentation Centres", a less problematic name than museum of the Nazi era. This one is built on the foundations of an old guesthouse in the Bavarian Alps where Hitler and many Nazi officials had summer homes. originally designed for 30-40,000 annual visitors it is being expanded to meet the current attendance of 150,000 a year. It incorprates the WWII German bunker complex underneath the various buildings.
