I really wouldn't consider that suburban sprawl. It's in Hamilton County, and the top center area is the historic Glendale village square. It used to be Glendale's "downtown" way back in the day. Those homes are HUGE and they have been there for years. It's actually a very charming place.

Yes, it was designed that way. But it's been there for as long as I can remember.

Also, there's a lot more sprawl south of the river....Independence, Cold Spring, Burlington, Florence, etc. You may want to have a look over there for the second installment of this thread.

One final note.....when did you take those shots? Quite literally, the most snow we've had so far this season has only been a dusting. Seriously. We've had a whopping total of .10 of an inch so far - hardly anything to plow or go sledding on.
