Huh, that's a rather unusual opinion, whatever, kind of hard to comment on it as you know, it ain't around anymore.

Though it's still truly a shame we lost one of the most important and unique buildings in skyscraper history...for this thing which could be virtually anywhere, whether or not one likes it or not it was quite a loss.

I also find it funny that all the reasons you state as to why you hate it is exactly why I love it. The shape was really unique, nothing quite like it on the skyline. The materials were very different, the brick and bluestone gave it this unique color etc.

I can agree about the proportions though, but I guess that was all they could do in those days when they were restricted to preserving the old Singer Building.
