Beechcraft Chooses Baton Rouge
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss (WCBI) - Baton Rouge, Louisiana beats out Lowndes County for a major Beechcraft aircraft deal and 1,500 jobs.
Monday (7-19), Beechcraft announced its decision to move much of its manufacturing and research from Wichita, Kansas to Baton Rouge.

This would be a substantial pickup for BR and the state, numbers floating around estimate up to 17,000 new research, manufacturing and support industries jobs.
