Isn't it interesting that Gehry's 800' facade exploration is lauded (and undeniably unique), but Piano's is much less so because the building isn't shiny? Despite the fact that Piano's work here actually creates something that people on the inside of the building can experience and enjoy? The interior office spaces in this building are some of the best in the city, and it has everything to do with the architecture.

But I guess skyscrapers have to look good in postcards only right? Doesn't matter if they provide a better environment for the people who actually use them right?
