Good news for West Sacramento. It appears that the riverfront hotel project will be funded by a private developer. The city has been negotiating with this unnamed developer since 2011 and decided to have the hotel 100% privately funded and privately owned. Raley’s Landing/River one development will have 4 components, The high rise hotel, integrated residential units, parking structure and a 20thou square foot convention center/ballroom. The parking structure and convention center/ballroom will have a combine public and private funding. Garfield Traub California Developments will provide the design and engineering services for the convention center/ballroom and parking garage. Entitlements for the high rise hotel has already been completed and construction should get underway before the end of 2012. The riverfront hotel is going to be a first class , full service hotel with a water taxi dock.

Three massive development projects for West Sacramento coming down the pipeline: 6 story 78 unit apartment/retail by Bridge Housing, river one hotel/residential and convention center and the 350 unit West Capitol commons.
