St-Laurent never struck me as being overbuilt. At least not in terms of the infrastructure for passengers - it was always pretty busy.

Sure, the tunnel is massive but that's at least in part due to its location with the mall and its parking facilities on one side, and a multi-lane expressway (417-Queensway) that it has to pass under.
