Tacoma seems like a good stand-in for Hamilton: the blue collar, industrial city at the edge of the metro at the head of the lake/bay.







Newark is too centralized within the NYC metro to be an equivalent of Hamilton. New York-Philly and Washington-Baltimore are more akin to a more distant Montreal-Ottawa type relationship, while Manchester-Liverpool are too close in size & influence to have any decent comparison here. And Worcester...I'm just not particularly familiar with.
