Pls excuse the late addition, but YES, YES, and YES !! This is an insult. Send it back for a revamped edition. This one must, as you say, be iconic, given the location, plus the height.

Not at all. I'm saying that this dull number seems to have the green light, so we have to accept it, dull as it is (which I do not like).
As for the other buildings, I'm just hoping that the tall ones in the precinct will be smart and interesting, to offset the dullness of this one; that's all.
If there were a way to liven up the design of this one .... I'd do it!!
