Not sure what you mean by generic retail store? I can tell you there is nothing generic about owning and operating one. Very tough business.
generic as in the stores that you find in dobie mall. nobody really goes to them. pedicure salons, crappy chinese food and whatnot. but that comic book store was cool. i dunno if its still there.
