Karnataka to pump in big money for its own ‘smart cities’

Bengaluru, Mysuru and Kalaburagi, which missed the ‘Smart City’ bus, will be developed into smart cities by the State on the model of the cities nominated under the Centre’s Smart Cities Mission by utilising its own funds, Minister for Urban Development Vinay Kumar Sorake said on Wednesday.
