WOW, you guys!!! i really have to say thanks for being total smart asses! i find it pretty shitty that i can't start a thread on a crane finally going up on a building that in many ways is actually quite historical.

first off- the building will be the tallest building outside of loop 1604 (yes there are others that are going to be built in lifestyle centers, but they haven't even started).

2nd- the building itself will be the most high tech office building to date in san antonio's history & will be completely glass and will be something extremely different from what has been delivered thus far.

LAST BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY (IMO)- i will be moving in 2 months (late march) to San Francisco, so it is sort of special for me that this building will have gotten started, and the GRAND HYATT will have finished, and possibly THE BROADWAY will have a crane erected as well. I WON'T BE HERE TO SEE IN PERSON WHAT I READ ONLINE AND WHAT YOU GUYS POST.. i don't understand what's so difficult for another enthusiast to comprehend about how that feels, well, unless he just doesn't understand the passion one can have towards building and skyscrapers.

As someone who has lived in HOUSTON (which i loved), AUSTIN (which i loved), and NYC (which i think if i had been there for me and not my partner, i would have loved, too), i have seen many cranes and many different buildings and architecture...
MY FAVORITE BUILDING (WHERE I USE TO WORK) BEING THE CHRYSLER BUILDING!!!

hey, you guys should be happy, cause at least i'm posting about a skyscraper/highrise and not just some shopping center!
