I wouldn't tear them down.
Traffic would hit a major snarl at the escarpment.
The viaducts actually have a pretty sleek design.
They don't use bents so they aren't as obtrusive as say the approaches to the Burrrad Bridge, Granville Bridge or the viaduct between Terminal Ave and 1st Ave.
