Hopefully that will start to change as more and more of these living units coming online. I've already noticed more people using Lake Union Park as more of a neighborhood hangout (like Cal Anderson) instead of "let's bring the kids to the lake for the afternoon" kind of vibe. As it is, though, commuting / walking through SLU I always feel like I don't belong because I don't work for any of the behemoths there. It just feels so.. exclusive.. everyone has a badge.
