C3D Architecture's Glassy New Rental is Now Rising on Lexington Avenue

In 2014, it was leaked that Albert Shirian’s Lions Group NYC will be building a 14-story, 40-unit rental tower at 229 Lexington Avenue. The site sits midblock between East 33rd and 34th streets at the intersection of NoMad, Kips Bay and Murray Hill. Now the project has finally gone vertical with several floors framed above street level.
The shimmering design was shaped by C3D Architecture, who explain the street facade features full height structural glass windows and accentuated metal antique bronze finish frames. Inside will be 40 apartments numbering just 2 or 3 per floor.
