Most of the heights for all the new developments along the Greenpoint-Williamsbrg waterfront top out at 400 ft., so you will get lots of buildings in this general height range over the next few years (in projects like Greenpoint Landing, the Domino Sugar redevelopment, etc).

I thought some of the towers looked closer to the 500' range? Are you sure this is only 400'? I'd place it closer to 450-500' based on the renderings and floor count...
It'll definitely be nice to see Greenpoint Landing & Domino get underway. Those are far bigger game-changers than this, and will really complete the waterfront. I wonder how integrated GPL and Hunter's Point South will be, since Newtown Creek divides the two... until it's cleaned up I can't see people wanting to walk over it. It's horrible.
