BOX CAR BARCADE

A barcade (arcade / bar) is opening on Lewis Street in the Old Greensborough historic district of downtown. It will look a lot like the Box Car in Raleigh. Lewis Street is located adjacent to "The Railyard" a collection of restaurants and the future Wet Willies daiquiri bar which has become a destination bar in cities centered around tourism.

renovation underway on Lewis Street Boxcar Greensboro. They have already started installing arcade games. The Barcade will open in February.

LEWIS STREET MUSIC FOUNDRY

Also on Lewis Street a live music venue is coming

300 to 350 people will be able to hear local and national acts play rock, jazz, blues and bluegrass in an intimate 5,000 square foot space in an early 1900s building. It fills a niche for smaller events where venues like the House of Blues Cone Denim Entertainment Center on South Elm Street host larger events.
