I think the controversy lies in the magnitude of financial assistance... I love the design, but that's a huge output for something that we'll have a hard time measuring its actual value for the city.
Not to sound too Winnipeg, but I'm sure this could have been done attractively for almost half the price.
Nonetheless, I'm sure I will like it when it's done.
