^ According to wikipedia it's a 3300 ft. trip. Not free, it's $4 for a round trip (you pay at the bottom only, so if you only ride down I guess it's free
). Not exactly cheap, but the views are great, and I couldn't pass it up for the neighborhood tour!
Edit: I think the tram is free for OHSU students & staff, though.
