Yeah, a low-mileage (30k) Focus from 2015 or 2016 can be had for like $11k. They're great cars. The ABS is pretty incredible on my 2012...I have tried but can't get it to spin in the snow.
So while cars are out-of-style from the Big 3, the nerds are throwing (borrowed) money at Elon Musk for his vastly overpriced Model 3. So it's not hard for the Model 3 to beat sales figures of well-known cars since so much of the primary market has moved to crossovers and SUV's.
You can buy three new Chevy Cruzes or three new Ford Fiestas for the price of one Model 3.
