Coming down
With the installation of the climbing crane this one was ready to be removed.
353 N Clark - March 6th
Unplugging the crane
Tidying up
Support cables removed, preparing to disconnect the front part of the Jib
Unbolting
Lowering the support cable for the front Jib section
1/2 Jib gone ( the counterweights were removed earlier ).
Up in the air
2nd 1/2 on the way down
Preparing the CounterJib
Unbolting the CounterJib
Lifting
Off
On the way down ( Sidewalk Joe on the lower right )
Picking off the Tower Peak ( as seen from lower Caroll )
Removing the motors ( blue cylinders )
Tower sections ( 2 at a time )
Notice how 2 of the 3 visible bolts are gone
