If you want to deal with another rich team owner who puts little or no cash into a facility and threatens to pull the team to press his point, then Katz is your guy. Talking about downtown development is just talk, particularly when it is preambled with the phrase 'subject to viability'. Get your new arena, sucker the city into paying for it, then get out of the development obligations by calling the 'not viable' clause.

KPMG are not making the recommendation on a whim, they know the score a lot better than we do, and it is no oversight that they did not recommend pursuing with AEG/KATZ along with the other two.
