Saw this in the Chicago Tribune:
Jahn joins Las Vegas project
Chicago architect Helmut Jahn on Monday was added to the roster of star architects for a $7 billion mixed-use development in Las Vegas, joining a group that already includes such well-known firms as London's Foster and Partners.
Jahn, architect of the United Airlines Terminal at O'Hare International Airport, will design a pair of residential towers as part of the development, called Project CityCenter. Daniel Libeskind, best known for his master plan of the World Trade Center, will shape retail spaces at the base of the towers, a spokesman for Jahn said.
The CityCenter project, being developed by MGM Mirage Inc., is planned to open in 2009 on a 66-acre site on the Las Vegas Strip.
