I also love the cemeteries I walked through down there, even the cemeteries are colorful!

Thanks, interesting. We had a rental van so we didn't have to take the bus, but I don't think I would dare to try the chicken bus because in both tourist guides and locals said we should avoid it, because of robbery, crazy driving, poor conditions etc...in Guatemala City we used the local bus, but that was the green Transmetro bus, they have a similar one in San Salvador, a blue one, that is very modern. Nice that you get along with the chicken bus (btw the locals we talked had never heard the word chicken bus, and didn't like the word)!
