Desharnais keeps impressing the hell out of me.
He definitely has the most chance to become St. Louis version 2.
Here are Desharnais' stats:
374 pts in 262 games in the QMJHL
106 pts in 68 games in the ECHL
184 pts in 183 games in the AHL
74 pts in 115 games in the NHL
The interesting thing with him is that the first 80 games in a new league, he will actually produce less. After that, he gets more comfortable and uses his small size properly. Since the 80 games mark... he has produced at a PPG pace with the Habs.
35 pts in his last 36 games.
I wouldn't be surprised if he gets 70-80 pts next year. Already has 51 this season with 16 games to go.
