Currently the central bit of the Red subway line is out of service. Started a couple of weeks ago (right after Citybanan opened) and will open again tomorrow (is the plan). The reason is that the subway bridge between Slussen and Old town needs work done. That bridge is soon 70 years old and has 5 subway track (4 in regular use for the Red and Green lines) so it needs a lot of love by now.


As for other projects around town...

The #7 tram extension to T-Centralen is slowly moving ahead. No track layed but the track beds are mostly in place since they've been installed as the street they're on has been renovated (it sits on a 1+ level concrete structure). Should open within a couple of years and will be pretty awesome.

The Blue subway line extension is starting to see some site-prep out in Nacka.

Tvärbanan... no real news. So I guess that might be a good thing? No delays of the re-opening announced, at least. 2017-10-01 for the whole line with the newer Solna branch opening before then in august iirc (with 2 stations from the old part joining in at that time too, first through-traffic between the original part and the newish "branch"). Afaik the brand new part to Sickla Station (interchange with Saltsjöbanan) will open on 2017-10-01 too. Having that added and through-traffic for the whole line and beign able to run more frequent trams then before... it'll be like a whole new beast.
