I took a trip to Detroit about 2 weeks ago and took thousands pictures
I just thought I'd share couple of them.
Enjoy
Flying into Detroit and Detroit Metro Airport
This Tunnel is awesome!
On 696 driving past Southfield
Downtown Royal Oak
Downtown Ferndale
Now in Detroit: On and around Woodward Ave
This is Palmer Woods. One of the more wealthier Neighborhoods in Detroit
Palmer Park a neighborhood with a lot of 1930's apartment buildings.
Back on Woodward
Another wealthy neighborhood called Boston Edison. Just a couple of blocks north of New Center
New Center
Inside the Fisher building
The huge Henry Ford Hospital
Back on Woodward
The old Wayne State University building
The Public Library
The Detroit Science Center
And the Detroit Institute of Arts
My mother used to live on this street
This is the house she used to live in
Another trip down Woodward on different day
The historic Ford Plant
Eight Mile Road
A trailer park just north of Eight Mile. I think this is where the movie 8 mile was made.
Michigan Ave
The old Michigan Central Station
The old Tiger Stadium
Downtown Detroit
The new renovated Fort Shelby Hotel
They sure stopped Kwame!
The new MGM Grand Hotel Casino
I wanted to go into the parking garage which used to be an Opera, but they wouldn't let me in
Detroit's first Church
Inside the Joe Louis Arena
Downtown Detroit now with a "little bit" of snow
Detroit Masonic Temple
Chinatown
The Spirit of Detroit
Inside the Guardian Building
Eastern Market
The new Greektown Casino
Man the salt trucks really suck in this town
