I was a little confused by the question as well but I will give it a try (nickw252, correct me if I am wrong): the pictures were taken on the east side of Central Ave (northbound lanes) north of Portland Street...facing west.
Things near Central/Roosevelt Station:
The Irish Cultural Center (obviously)
The Lexington Hotel
Portland Park
Roosevelt Square Apartments
Portland Place Condominiums
Hance Park
Fair Trade Cafe
Portland's (Restaurant)
Trinity Episcopal Cathedral
Office buildings line the east side of Central near the station, etc.
