Yeah the mattress store and the banks need to go. Even though 17th ave is awesome, I think the best part is between 4th street and 9th. Between 9th and 14th needs a lot of work. I'm looking at you... CIBC, ATB, Sleep Country, Huntington Apartments, Liquor Depot, Scotiabank.
In my opinion, the west side of 17th ave is almost as bad as the east side closer to Victoria park.
Everything else though is great
