"The eight-lane bridge, with a traditional above-deck arch design, will be constructed beginning next year and be open by 2012. Gloucester-South Nepean Councillor Steve Desroches said the only remaining approvals need to come from Transport Canada and the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority"
