But yes, if Detroit's downtown were growing, it would be unfortunate that some of the city's best real estate was occupied by a large box with an ugly parking lot on top. There would arguably be no regular destination on the west side of Cobo regardless; isn't the majority of the area to the west of the Riverfront Condominiums a massive brownfield?
