Construction work has begun on the terminal apron at GRFIA. This is a $30 million project focused on making repairs to the general area where aircraft are parked, refueled, loaded, etc. It is part of the larger overhaul that the airport has been getting over the past few years as it positions itself for more planned expansions in the future.
