Hi guys, long time lurker, first time poster. I thought it was time to sign up, start contributing where I can. It's a good board you have here, very informative.

In case anyone is interested, not that it matters anymore, but the ARUP / Kasian bridge was estimated to cost, at its absolute max, $17 million. Much lower than what the bridge was budgeted for.

I'd go into more detail on the competition on my thoughts on it, but let's just say I'm as dissapointed as most of you. Atleast the best bridge won out of the three that were selected, but overall, this competition was a let-down, and will be a memory of 'what could have been'.
