Many of those older mid-century buildings were so solidly built, perhaps concrete walls between the units, that it would be a tragedy to tear a building like this down. If it's achievable, adding balconies would be a real plus, or a rooftop deck for the occupants.

In Minneapolis they built the Towers Condominiums back in the early 60's, and, hard to believe there was 12 inches of concrete poured between the floors and poured concrete walls between the units. I knew someone that bought a unit and he explained it to me. That building will outlast World War III.
