edmontonenthusiast, yes I have been traveling alot the last few years! I think Denver's LoDo and Portland's Pearl District have a similar feeling, and both cities certainly seem very outdoorsy! Portland has a noticeably superior public transit system while Denver has the better urban downtown atmosphere.
