The politics of all this is cracking me up. Federalists on my Facebook are all, "I want Newfoundland to win, but I can't root against Canada?"
They're consoling themselves with "NEWFOUNDLAND FOR TEAM CANADA BRIER 2018!"
And the rest (majority, in my circle, of course - but not in society at large) are all, "What is this, 1948?"
Also, the Newfoundland team asked fans to dress all in red to "RED OUT" the other team.
The other team is Canada. Whose colour is red.
